CALL FOR PAPERS

Sensor Systems for
Environmental Monitoring
Conference with Posters and Exhibition

Thursday 14th October 2010
The Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, London u
Since the successful conference, ‘Chemical Sensors and Biochemical Sensors – Measurement to Control’ held by the AAMG in May 2009, it is now considered appropriate for the follow up conference in October 2010 to address the state of art and recent developments in sensor technologies, with a focus on environmental monitoring. Opportunities will be provided for postgraduate PhD students to give oral and poster presentations related to the theme of the conference.

The interest and use of sensing techniques in environmental monitoring has grown rapidly in recent years, enhanced by the potential for automation and remote at site measurements with low cost methodologies and miniature instrumentation.

This conference offers a good opportunity to bring together scientists involved in this field to exchange experiences and thoughts about the new applications.
Invited Papers:

Papers are invited in the following subject areas:

Types of sensors and their application for environmental monitoring

Total Sensor Systems

Sensor array techniques

Novel sensing systems
