The presence of pollutants in indoor, workplace and ambient air is still at the forefront of health issues. The UK and EU have programmes in place to minimise the impact of airborne pollutants on the population at large. These pollutants include gasses, volatile organic compounds and semi volatile compounds and particulates, as low as sub ppb concentration levels, derived from human activities, building materials, outdoor pollution, fossil fuel emissions and many others. The effect on human health of these pollutants is becoming of continuing concern. The conference addresses these concerns by examining their physico-chemical impact and strategies, sampling procedures and techniques for monitoring trace levels of these substances.
The conference will be of interest to industrial, public health and environmental chemists who are involved in air monitoring, environmental and health studies.
A tabletop exhibition and posters will support the conference
